Does Hearth AI estimate calories from meal photos?
The app itself does not. When you send a meal photo to ChatGPT or Claude, the calories and macros your AI estimates are logged in Hearth through the connector. You can edit or delete an estimate in the app later.
Is Hearth free?
Downloading is free, but logging meals, workouts and weight, the dashboard, goals and plan, and the AI connection need Hearth Pro (a monthly or yearly subscription). You can sign in and set your goal before subscribing. A free trial applies to eligible users; the purchase screen shows the length, price and conditions.
How do I connect ChatGPT?
For now, use ChatGPT’s developer mode (a paid plan is required): create an app (connector) and paste the connector URL https://mcp.hearth.protoductai.com/mcp. Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use in Hearth and approve access. Once Hearth Coach is listed in ChatGPT’s apps, you can add it from Settings > Apps.
How do I connect Claude?
In Claude, open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.hearth.protoductai.com/mcp. Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use in Hearth.
Which ChatGPT or Claude plan do I need?
In ChatGPT, adding Hearth currently goes through developer mode, which requires a paid plan. Once Hearth Coach is listed in ChatGPT’s apps, you can add it from Settings > Apps. In Claude, add it from Settings > Connectors.
Can the AI change my goal on its own?
No. A suggested change to your goal only takes effect when you tap Approve in the app, and it is checked to be within a safe range first.
Is Hearth a medical app? Does it promise weight loss?
Hearth is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Figures are estimates and no result is promised. If you have health concerns, please consult a medical professional.
I have Pro, but it says Hearth Pro is required
Check that the account you connected in your AI assistant is the same one you are signed in with in the app. Also try Settings > Restore Purchases in the app.
How do I disconnect?
Remove Hearth from Settings > Connectors in Claude, or Settings > Apps in ChatGPT. Disconnecting does not delete the data stored in Hearth.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the Hearth app, go to Settings > Delete Account. This deletes the body and health data, logs, meal photos and coach data saved in Hearth from Hearth’s active systems and signs you out. It cannot be undone. The sign-in account is shared with other ProtoductAI apps and is not deleted; contact us if you want it deleted.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone, open Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting your Hearth account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
